The truth is that I've been down in the dumps since I almost died of swine flu. I'm not sure why. I've felt heavy inside, dark. It's been hard to get back into the habit of blogging even though I've managed to keep up with granny making. I've not found a way to evict the little voice that has taken up residency in my head and keeps telling me that everything I do is shit.
But I have a answer. Yes, it might be shit, but its my shit and its honest shit and I've missed my little blog. So I am back and I will post - everyday!
I need to follow the directive I often give the kids "there is no try, there is only do."
So, here are April's Grannies. As you'll see, 2 year old Trixie is part of the staff here at Wooly Ana's Neighborhood. She is charged with removing the granny after the picture is taken and then stacking them up. But sometimes she can't wait and wants to remove them prematurely. She can't help it - she loves to stack them up.
What can I do? She is my assistant, she works for food and cuddles, and in all honesty, she keeps coming back when I fire her.
Oh, and regarding the blog renaming, I just wanted a name that was not so narrow, something that can include all my crochet and fiber related adventures. I just like the sound of Wooly Ana. It's warm and cozy.
See you tomorrow!
