Day 12: Granny Snowflakes

The very best thing about making grannies out of variegated sock yarn is that each square is entirely unique.

Here is today's square, fresh off the hook.



Out of that skein I also made these two squares.



They are just like snowflakes - no two are alike!

I'm also making smaller squares for a separate, but still granny related, project and as you can see each square is remarkably different even though they are made from the same skein.

I don't like variegated yarn for everything but for the right project is it amazing.
