Day 8: Reflections on a Week of Granny Squaring

I made it a whole week. So far this is the best I've ever done at keeping a new year's resolution. Yay!!!!!! I wanted to celebrate by doing a different patterned square but I can't quite drag myself away from the simple, course beauty to the traditional granny.  Plus this is a exercise in monotony, a symbolic manifestation of domestic drudgery and I want to stay true to that by keeping it repetitive.
