Day 22: Crochet Weather

It's cold. When it is like this, I start a fire and pretty much park myself beside it in order to tend it, and because a good fire makes me slow and lazy.

I did finally finish a cowl I made and loved and then lost and then started again last spring.

I know, it doesn't look very exciting but it hangs really nicely and I love the color and texture of the yarn. It reminds me a little of chain mail because it feels nice and heavy.

And it is made out of recycled yarn which I love. Here it is in a different color.

The cowl looks better on.

Hambone's trying to decide if it is his "style" or not.

On to today's granny.

The cold is wonderful crochet weather, but on days like today I wonder how I will power through the 95 degree days that are sure to come.
